Sancerre White Porcelain Plates by Pillivuyt

Sancerre plates bring clean, quietly assured proportions to the everyday table. Different diameters and both two- and four-piece sale options allow the service to be assembled for its particular courses.

“I like beginning with good plain dinner plates, then bringing in old silver and colored textiles. Sancerre lets those pieces belong together.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage

Established in France in 1818, Pillivuyt has been producing porcelain at its Mehun-sur-Yèvre manufacture since 1854. More than two centuries of accumulated knowledge inform its precise forms, remarkably smooth glaze, and enduring approach to functional tableware.

Fired at high temperatures, Pillivuyt porcelain develops a dense, nonporous surface that combines the refinement of fine French craftsmanship with the demands of everyday use.
