Toulouse Deep Porcelain Plates by Pillivuyt — Set of 2

The Toulouse deep plate brings the useful well of a bowl to the silhouette of a dinner plate. Its characteristic pleated detail lends a warm French-country note.

“I use deep plates when a dish has a little sauce. They keep the generous feeling of a bowl within a more formal setting.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Maker / Heritage

Established in France in 1818, Pillivuyt has been producing porcelain at its Mehun-sur-Yèvre manufacture since 1854. More than two centuries of accumulated knowledge inform its precise forms, remarkably smooth glaze, and enduring approach to functional tableware.

Fired at high temperatures, Pillivuyt porcelain develops a dense, nonporous surface that combines the refinement of fine French craftsmanship with the demands of everyday use.
